Materials: White drawing paper, Prismacolor brush tip markers, graphite pencil, gold leaf pen, Micron Pigma fineliners, white Gelly Roll pen.
Technique: First, I sketched a rough draft of the Badass Red Lady. Once I was certain I had a shape I liked, I outlined the whole thing in Micron Pigma pen, and erased the pencil. Then, I colored the whole piece, including the background. Finally, I added gold splatter and detailing and white accents to give the piece a three-dimensional feel.
Inspiration: Some days you want to paint a sophisticated landscape, some days you need to draw a badass lady in red with an unidentifiable skull in her hair. Guess which day this was?
