Materials: Stretched canvas, acrylic paints by Arteza, Floetrol.
Technique: To create this piece, I first used the acrylic pouring technique to paint a hypnotic, rainbow background. Then, after the pour had cured for a few months, I painted an Adirondack landscape on using a two inch flat brush and a small fan brush for the trees.
Inspiration: The Adirondack area is so beautiful and vibrant. Even in the middle of winter, life and color are abundant if you look in the right places! This painting is reflective of this beauty and how those of us that live here really see the area.
